Job Summary

Business Analyst

The role will give an opportunity to interact with multiple internal stakeholders.

What will you get to learn?
Candidate will be also responsible to do payment schedules, contract comparison, currency checks for HTI.
The internal stakeholders will be spread across businesses and locations of the organization and the selected resource will get to have a sound understanding of the overall India landscape and workings of each business.

Skills Required (Mandatory):

a. Good written and oral communication skills
b. Presentation and data articulation.
c. Commercial Banking experience (be familiar with banking products)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Expertise in Business Analysis skills.
• Strong banking knowledge with an overall experience of about 5-8 years.
• Understanding and first hand working experience of agile practices.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, maturity in dealing with various stakeholders in business and IT.
• Strong customer focus and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong domain knowledge of banking in general and one of these functions - payments, lending , KYC/onboarding, Open banking
• Knowhow and hands on experience in user story creation, refinement, story pointing etc
• IT experience in Business analysis, understanding of APIs and microservices, knowhow of digital banking and direct exposure in software development.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently, as well as work collaboratively with other teams, some of which may be geographically distributed.
• Jointly work with business BAs in turning product vision into requirements
o Understanding customer journey
o Defining epics
o Mapping customer journey
o Writing user stories
o Defining Acceptance Criteria for customer facing elements
• Create user stories for functional requirements that are non-customer facing or are backend driven such as – interest processing, data exchange, account creation etc.
• Assist Tech lead with;
o End to end functional flows
o Data Model
o Interface specifications
• Host refinement sessions to bring stories to DoR done.
• Ensuring that a healthy number of stories remain in the DoR bucket and healthy product backlog is maintained.
• Reviewing what has been developed to ensure they are in line with expectations
• Assisting developers with queries on user stories and solution (functional)
• Analyse functional defects, bring them up in the prioritisation sessions with the POs
• Review test plan with the testers for CIT,SIT
