CAD Designer - 3

An opportunity work with world’s largest American multinational oil and gas corporation, MNC this will be an Individual Contributor role. dealing direct and working/ Collaborates with design originators to resolve discrepancies between original drawings and final CAD designs. And ensure each team member understands his/her role and responsibilities to deliver the design within the agreed budget, schedule, and quality standards.

Skills Required (Mandatory):

• Hands-on expertise in 2D/3D modelling tools, data management tools, enabling selection and application of appropriate digital strategy. Experience in 3D modelling database administration (AVEVA 3D/Smart plant 3D).
• Experienced in developing piping Isometrics, piping layout, equipment layout/ plot plan, MTO, PFDs, and P&IDs etc.
• Recommend appropriate industry layout standards and eager to learn ExxonMobil spacing standards & site-specific layout requirements.
• Constructability, accessibility, maintainability, operability, and plant safety knowledge to develop facility layouts.
• Defining digital design strategy for projects together with BL leads to optimize and improve design definition of concept evaluation.
• Troubleshoot/escalate unresolved issues in the tools, execution to minimize quality issues, delays in deliverables.
• Experience in organizing and uploading drawings to web-based storage sites/collaboration with project sites to share drawings with teams.
• Have keen desire to learn new tools and collaborate in virtual environment to deliver results.
• Have basic knowledge of types of process equipment, footprint and equipment placing on layout.
• Preferred to have knowledge of stick built, modular and manufacturing layouts.
• Preferred to have knowledge of various structures, buildings, and pipe racks (3D model).
• Preferred to have work experience with Global Practices/Design Practices.

Additional Information:

• Working hour: 1.30pm - 10.30pm (and business expect candidate to be flexible on working hour).
• Interview mode: Online (Interview duration: 2 hours - Interview timing will be fixed to be at IST time, from 8pm – 10pm).
• Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days.

Digital tool experience expectations (indicate level/years of experience in table below):

• 2D Software: AutoCAD, Micro-Station, SPPID
• 3D Software: Opti Plant (preferred), PDS, S3D / PDMS, E3D, and
• 3D Review Software: Navisworks
• 3D model database management: AVEVA Administration
• Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Power point.
• Digital tools: Aconex, ABE (Aspen Basic Engineering), etc.
