Role : Senior Financial Analyst


Responsibility & Deliverables –
1. Managing monthly program financial management activities
2. Full year Budget planning, and forecast updates i.e. GPDM planning/forecast updates and monthly program actuals Vs plan tracking & controlling
3. Track, consolidate Basis Data & Costs on Staffing, Tools , Projects, Infra ( Plan , Actual & Forecast) .
4. Assist in creation of Program / Project Level plans such as resource utilization, change control, financials and portfolio development and maintenance
5. Produce a consolidated management dashboard to ensure progress against key criteria like commercials, schedule, risks, issues and benefits
6. Assist in business management procedures to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and ensure tracking and monitoring of actual v/s plan and forecast
7. Produce MI measuring performance against departmental objectives
8. Assist with Executive and Management reporting
9. Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
10. Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
11. Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
12. Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
13. Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization
14. Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials
15. Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
16. Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
17. Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps
18. Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models
19. Assisting in the PM operations of larger projects and working with senior PM’s.
20. Ensure accurate effort and expenditure figures are provided to IT Finance and relationship management.
21. Review invoices against project estimates and timesheets to ensure billing accuracy
22. Project reporting - running the panel of lights from data weekly
23. Contribution to MI pack for business meetings
24. Resolving allocation issues to ensure time compliance in Clarity; correction of various issues like incorrect allocations, force fitment issues
25. Time Sheet administration and chasing

Requirements –
1. 8 plus years’ experience in an administrative/PMO role in a large-scale Program in Financial Services / Retail / FMCG / eCommerce.
2. 8+ years of business/Tech/Corporate finance for Tech or corporate finance, financial planning & analysis.
3. Ability to manage multiple tasks in an organized manner, whilst ensuring quality and timelines of the delivered results. Attention to detail a must.
4. Financial Control and Modeling experience is required.
5. Advanced Excel skills, creating advanced formulae, VBA and Macros.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and written & verbal communication skills
7. Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to build and establish relationships
8. Highly skilled in use of MS Office tools, particularly Excel.
9. High level influencing skills and ease in working with Senior Management
10. Proactive, enthusiastic, self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
11. Professional conduct while maintaining confidentiality
12. Masters or equivalent degree in Finance or allied fields.
